Hi everyone,
I have been focusing on other areas so I havent been able to keep up the maintenance of this site. I apologize for anyone that regularly checks.
I have been building a few side businesses online and they are taking up a lot of my internet time. You can see more about them thru my profile and other blog sites.
But one thing that I have also been doing is researching fundraising to help martial arts. I started a group at Yahoo. The address is:
http://ca.groups.yahoo.com/group/mafundraising/
I have found a benefit or fundraising program that would be perfect for dojos. You can read more here:
http://bbads2000.myworldbenefits.com/index?SITE=676968
I was trying to find someone who might be interested in starting up a traffic exchange focusing on martial arts. If you know anyone, please contact me.
I have found a number of products that could help with getting (or growing) online. I dont know anything about getting a website and so on, I am just learning now. But these few sites have so much good information that once I learn alittle more I will post the information here to help you get started (or improve your site).
Keep your eyes peeled!

MyWorldPlus
Hello everyone,
Well, they have officially launched MyWorldPlus. In two weeks I was able to sign up 68 members. The thing that excites me even more is that I have over 25000 pre-enrollees in my powerline.
For anyone that signs up as a member, they pass those 25000 people and can earn on any people that join after them. That is powerful. There are over 25000 people seeing the growth on a weekly basis and they have signed up already. You don't need to advertise to get those people. The are already "in" your business!!...
So, you missed the Pre-launch... that is okay. It just set you up to take advantage of all the work that was done up to now. At the very least, sign up as a pre-enrollee so you can see the growth for yourself.
Go here now and take a minute to sign up. It is FREE to become a pre-enrollee!

Wow..time flies
Hello everyone,
I was planning on a doing a lot with this site as part of my resolutions but I have been so busy with my other resolutions that this one kind of got put on hold. It is still lower on my priorities but I want to add a little right now...
I started finding links and info on all the different areas that a martial artist should study (if they plan on making it a way of life). Here is a very short, rough list of different areas to learn about. You can start building up your own links and files until I start posting more...
- styles of martial arts
- history (of the arts and of the regions)
- people of the arts
- diet and nutrition
- exercise
- fitness (what constitutes fitness, etc)
- flexibility
- competition rules
- language (Japanese for Japanese arts, Chinese for Chinese, and so on)
- culture (how does the culture affect the art that you study, etc)
- individual techniques (fine points, mechanics, supplementary skills, etc)
- patterns and kata of your style and of other styles
- applications
- explanations of techniques, etc
- if it is a BUDO, the moral and philisophical ideas related to BUDO
- and so on...
Like I said, this is a very rough outline. I wish to expand on these points as this blog develops. It might be a book in progress, I havent really decided...I guess it depends on how it grows.
But in the meantime, as it grows, I would appreciate your ideas and suggestions. What do you need as a martial artist? As a school owner or teacher? I have only my perspective, so I would appreciate other ways of looking at the martial arts in general.
Well, I will write more again soon. I will try to add a little each week... much like martial arts training...it is the little bit you do every day that makes the biggest difference...
Talk to you again soon!
